MCShapiro Law Group Standards:
Managing Attorney Mitchell C. Shapiro graduated from Cornell University (with honors) in 1986 and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1989. He then trained at two of the largest BigLaw firms and spent a total of 16 years at major law firms handling scores of arbitrations/mediations, complex commercial litigations (including the then-largest antitrust class action settlement in history), government investigations and jury trials. He then spent 7 years practicing law as co-counsel to other firms and counseling a limited number of clients while dabbling in start up business ventures until the Fall of 2011, when he expanded his law practice to handle a growing demand by current and new clients. MC Shapiro Law Group practices law the way that Mitch learned to practice at the BigLaw Firms; high quality, responsive, zealous representation of all clients, no matter how big or small.
The lawyers of MCShapiro Law Group have conducted hundreds of depositions and argued countless motions and numerous appeals in various state and federal courts. We have experienced success in all stages of litigation, from temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions to jury trials and appeals in numerous state and federal courts. The Firm’s lawyers and staff have been trained in the BigLaw style, delivering high quality, responsive representation and successful results without the sticker shock of the big firm practice.
MCShapiro Law Group Works Zealously for Our Clients:
Consistent with Mr. Shapiro’s BigLaw training, MCShapiro Law Group strives to deliver successful results for our clients no matter the pace of the work. Early in 2012, the Firm’s lawyers successfully settled a two year litigation in Delaware Bankruptcy on the eve of trial after working day and night for weeks. During the ensuring month, the Firm then successfully procured a temporary restraining order for another client (within 48 hours of being retained), vacated a TRO that had been entered against one of the Firm’s clients and procured two other temporary restraining orders for two other clients. In one six month period, the firm conducted five different trials in different courts (including two New York State Court jury trials, a California state court bench trial and a federal bench trial). If the Firm can’t allocate the proper resources to match up with BigLaw adversaries, then we won’t accept the retention. A description of some of our more noteworthy cases can be found by clicking the Notable Cases hyperlink on the side of the page.
